EZ Cable Clips

As part of our marketing class, Calvin and I decided to demo our EZ Cable Clips at the Raintree Apartments.

It was a beautiful spring day in sunny Saint George. A recent spring shower was still clinging in the air when we arrived at the facility. We were warmly welcomed by Shelia, the onsite manager, who promptly began to extol the virtues of the Raintree Apartment complex. It is a family owned facility where the owner’s children have stayed while attending Dixie State University. She went on to point out that Raintree is known for its high standards and friendly tenants. While we were there, we found that to be true.

We looked around to find some coaxial cable to secure, but they all seemed to be well secured. We did find some cable in the front that had come loose when the sun had rotted the plastic clips that were used to secure the cables.

We proceeded to remove the old ones and install

the revolutionary shark tooth clips

How To Spend Spring Break @ School --

With spring break coming up at the end of the week some college students might find themselves stuck at school for the week break and we at Raintree Apartments want to help you from getting bored with a few ideas.

Since the weather down here in St. George has been heating up we think that a nice trip up to Zion's National Park is a great idea to go with some friends and see the outdoors. Seeing the outdoors is a great way to spend a day especially when college isn't pressing you with homework. The price of admission for one vehicle is $25 along with a $12 admission fee both are valid for 7 days. You can go more than once over the break!

You can learn to cook a new meal. There are plenty of cooking shows on TV, but most of them are too costly or you need a large kitchen which is hard to come by in college housing. There are many different sites on the internet that promote easy cooking, simple cooking or meal in 5 steps or less. Do some searching and get yourself a nice near recipe to cook up.

Reorganizing your room or apartment is a good way to clean up and change some things up a bit. Plus it will help you find some things that may have fell through the cracks over the semester. Another thing reorganizing does is help you find new ways to optimize the space you have. There are helpful how-to videos online on how to do just that.

All in all here at Raintree Apartments we want to hope everyone has a safe and fun spring break!

5 Ways to Survive with Roommates!

Having roommates during college can be a way to make friends that will last a lifetime or it can be a nightmare.  In the past we have seen both situations. There are a few rules that you can follow that will make any college roommate experience better.

1.TALK ABOUT MONEY UPFRONT.

If you live in college dorms this probably won't be as big of deal but if you are living in a house off-campus or in other student housing talking about finances is a must.  Many problems between roommates can be be avoided by simple talking about who is going to pay the utilities, how much is each person going to pay for general living expenses such as garbage bags, cleaning supplies etc.  Many roommate situations can turn bad very quickly when items like this aren't brought up early!

2. RESPECT PRIVATE SPACE.

Living with roommates anywhere you can get really up close and personal many aspects in each others lives. This can be from sharing a bathroom, kitchen and even a room,  Make sure that you respect the space of your roommate. Don't borrow ANYTHING without asking, even if you are "good friends".  Borrowing without asking can start with clothing, and food but most of the time it ends in resentment towards the roommate that is doing all the borrowing.

3. GOLDEN RULE.

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" It is very important that you follow this very old advice.  Cleaning up common areas of the apartment without being asked is a great way to create an awesome roommate experience.  Other acts of service can be taking out the garbage, cleaning your roommates dishes, making them food(cookies, dinner, etc.) Once again remember to respect the private space of your roommate I would recommend not cleaning up their room and other areas they may not want you to be.

Keeping these three simple rules will make good roommate situations great and bad roommate situations better!
